Perhaps so, but at the moment they shouldn't do them from N8 anyway as the screen's not big enough - though I have argued in the past that it's not the size of the screen, it's how close you zoom in, but 24 always stay zoomed out with a resulting tiny map!

Agreed - it does look rubbish in N8. Although I'd have thought zooming in much closer would result in losing most of the forecaster (including their head) from the shot.

No one has ever told me why susan osman gets called doily.

its been a good few weeks since she as on N24.

When Susan was a regular presenter of the joint overnight service (she Sunday's I think) - she had a couple of very doily-like blouses...

She is no longer a regular on N24 - suspect she hoped for more shifts than she got when she broke the strike. (Oddly the other two presenters that day also no longer regularly work for News 24 or World...)

I saw her do the overnight a few weeks back. And i dont se why the presenters during the strike are so significant.
stephen cole did the nationals that day didnt he.

Well don't forget she has now been ordaned as an inter-denominational minister and is now Reverend Osman. So i guess that's her full time job.

She is one of those "icons" who has an endearing aura, perhaps for reasons entirely unintentional. A bit like Moira or Sissons.......we can take them 24 hours a day and be happy with them.

Edited for spelling.
