I like the way that bloke in the white shirt dishes out a swift rebuking!

As for the perpetrators, I think I read somewhere they were from a band being featured on "Sound", the new music programme on Switch.

You see things like thi ill not happen when N24 goes to N6,i don really see why it has to happen why dont world go there and the nationals move into the current N8.I think N24 should stay in the newsroom.

Really? Why haven't you shared your views with us before?

Why? So you can see people in the newsroom waving to everyone?

I see that N24 has made a slight change to the way it uses its ticker. Rather than lumping all of the news 'HEADLINES' together, major stories are being individually flagged with their own titles on the ticker - 'SUDAN TEACHER', 'NIMROD CRASH', 'LABOUR DONATIONS' etc.

I may be completely wrong about this, but I'm guessing that they've recently found a way to have two-word ticker titles - as I have never seen a two-word title since they launched the new graphics set. Even 'BREAKING' always looked very odd on the ticker, when 'BREAKING NEWS' would have been more appropriate.

Other ticker groups for sport, interactive, business etc remain unchanged from what I've seen.

So have they used BREAKING NEWS on the red ticker yet, or still just BREAKING?

That's a good question - I've not seen a red ticker yet this morning, though I've been away from my desk a few times, so I may have missed it if it's popped up.

Louise and Rachel are on News 24 this afternoon. We seem to be getting two women on this shift fairly regularly now, which I think is a good move as it gives us a chance to see a few good pairings that wouldn't be on otherwise. It seems like they haven't found anyone to replace Julian Worricker after he left though, as he used to do the shift quite a lot.

Bizarrely, it still says 'BREAKING' on the red ticker!

You mean previously it was not possible to have two-word tiles? Didnt thought of it! Laughing The current 'HEADLINES' 'BUSINESS' and "SPORTS" looked fine to me on BBC World.

Please don't tell me that BBC World calls it "SPORT S " - that's a blatant Americanisation. It is SPORT not SPORTS!

What about Sophie Long to cover Joanna's maternity leave? She seems to have been used quite frequently since she first appeared on News 24 in September.
I really don't like her - don't know why exactly she just seems a bit, erm, boring! No chemistry with other presenters!

Nice to see Rachel Schofield back! She's got back im the mood of things very quickly, compared to Sophie (Rayworth) who I thought looked very nervous when she returned!

Rachel scofield has done the 1 before.
maybe we could save all of these presenter moves and just use rachel and get sophie long to cover joanna and ellie crissel to cover rachel.
