But Sophie and Joanna are going to be on maternity leave around the same time! So surely that can't happen!

Perhaps...

Arrow Joanna and Sophie on leave
Arrow Kate moves to the One Mon-Thurs
Arrow Louise stays on the one on Friday, but also becomes relief for Breakfast
Arrow Anita stays where she is
Arrow Carrie moves to 24 mornings permanently
Arrow Any of the following take over from Joanna:
Arrow Emily Maitlis (though unlikely)
Arrow Claire Marshall
Arrow Rachel Schofield
Arrow Karin Giannone
Arrow Martine Croxall

Personally I don't see the need for the current evening setup - why would someone like Simon McCoy or Louise Minchin work 5 days a week and yet someone working on evenings only works 4? Surely having Ben and Joanna (or replacement) work 5 days a week with Chris Lowe covering it at weekends. It's the only time at weekends where two presenters are used, and I'm sure it was only so that Joanna could have a regular position when she returned from maternity last time!

Almost, but I haven't seen Louise Minchin work on a Monday on News 24 for ages, it seems to Be Emily lately. I assume this is because she does the One on Fridays now, as well as often covering Breakfast at the Weekends, so works a day less.

What about Sophie Long to cover Joanna's maternity leave? She seems to have been used quite frequently since she first appeared on News 24 in September.

I really don't like her - don't know why exactly she just seems a bit, erm, boring! No chemistry with other presenters!

Nice to see Rachel Schofield back! She's got back im the mood of things very quickly, compared to Sophie (Rayworth) who I thought looked very nervous when she returned!

That was News24 problem. It didn't happened on BBC AMERICA.

I know it's been a week of high profile stories but has it really been necessary to have the BREAKING strap on more or less continuously today?

I like the way that bloke in the white shirt dishes out a swift rebuking!

As for the perpetrators, I think I read somewhere they were from a band being featured on "Sound", the new music programme on Switch.
