Think Chris was in the launch line-up. Ben Geoghagan and Gavin Esler also still pop up now and again - they were launch presenters.
Gavin was the Senior presenter i believe wasn't he?
He was one of the biggest names - and in that way was probably deemed "senior". He and Sian were the 1600-1900 weekday launch presenters ISTR and that was quite a high-profile slot. Don't think there was a "senior presenter" official title though...
TC10 is on the 6th floor and used to be home to CBBC Presentation and then a daily CBBC show presented by Sam and Mark (name escapes me). It was also used for a period by News 24 when their current set was built. (Historically it was a News studio from 1969ish to 1998. Its last permanent News gig was as the home of BBC World in the blue era before they moved into their current home)

Dan Corbett was the first weather face on the channel and as we know still forecasts on there back in the day when the News 24 maps had different colour tones to the rest of BBC Weather output. The maps had more of an orange feel to them!
Still looks good all these years on. I still find the current BBC Weather graphics completely useless. While I understand what's on the map, I don't go away from watching a report knowing what the forecast is. Quite why it's required to have a fly around the UK in every forecast I don't know. It appears they don't seem to realise that those living in the area that appears last has to sit through 20 seconds of forecast that is totally irrelevant to them.
Bring back the symbols. And while I'm making pointless demands, simplify the forecast by breaking the day into three (morning, afternoon, evening) rather than breaking it into hours. As it is, I don't trust the hourly accuracy.
Does anyone know why the ticker displays 'BBC News' today? No simulcast on BBC One right now, so is World simulcasting, is it being recorded or is it a mistake?

Could be part of the new branding that's going on. Radio News tends to be introduced along the lines of BBC News for Radio 4 etc now.
On the other hand this could be nobody has noticed to change it from Breakfast this morning.
So while the work is done on N6, the Ten will come from either News 24 or TC7 (with tight turnaround for Newsnight). It'd be great if it was News 24 as we may finally see Fiona Bruce in N8! In either case, could the 10:32 update come from the BBCi CSO position, if it has its own gallery?
Also, with the One and Ten coming from News 24 / N6 afterwards, with structured weekday bulletins that'll work OK. Weekends will be more awkward though? If we have BBC One opting into News 24 for news bulletins at random afternoon times through the weekend, let's hope that they do it cleanly. I'm not a fan of the News 24 presenter filling for a certain number of seconds then staring ahead until the headline bed starts for BBC One. I personally would prefer if they do the swirly BBC News logo thing for a few seconds up to the opt-in point (can't remember when they used this, but it happened once not too long ago when BBC One was opting into News 24). Much cleaner.

Fiona has presented from N8 before, when they had to suddenly relocate the 10 there due to technical issues in N6. I believe the whole programme was moved to N8 with only 10 minutes notice.
