David Lowe's website implies they are all the same:
"BBC News 2007 Main Title Music
The new mix for BBC 1 News 24 and BBC World starting January 2007 "

But there is a different animation so perhaps it's just images and sound 'appear' different.

They are all different. Nationals/n24 and world have a deep boops at the end, N24 Tonight has a high hold at the end (the one on the website) and some versions I have heard are more crashy/pipy than others.

The breaking news sting sounds a bit wrong on the last two I've heard in the 9pm hour - as if they start, are faded out and then quikcly back in?

Just a thought about the clock. No problems when output is being shown on BBC News 24, but what will happen when they are leading simulcasts with BBC One e.g. on Breakfast at the weekend?

Whatever happens with that though, I can't imagine the clock on Breakfast during the week will move very far. It wouldn't be very friendly to people who can't watch through digital.

I've just noticed, don't normally watch the 10 News hour. What happened to the weather at around 10.27 on BBC News 24? Did they scrap it with the introduction of the simulcast?

Overall, I think it looks very nice indeed!

Headline bed is works better now with more pace, and the titles are lovely and generally quite a big improvement, save for the swirly BBC NEWS text that comes in, which it perhaps could get rid of - because without the ability to have the custom text around the globe anymore, that element doesn't have much worth now, IMO.

I do like the new titles, which have more impact than the old ones (though I think that has probably more to do with the fab new music), but it is interesting to note the similarities with Sky News' idents from 2001! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0LH4MI1dJzY

As for the graphics, the News 24 ones are an improvement. I'm not so sure going quite so 3D was necessary - at least not in the way they have done. It all seems a bit "let's go 3D because we can" (which is understandable), maximising in swish but lacking slightly in the class factor. Perhaps that's me being snobby, but they aren't as classy as they could have been - BBC Sport being an example of how 3D graphics can also be classy. CNNi's graphics are cutting edge without having to be 3D. I'm sure they'll grow on me.

The national graphics need some work - I'm rather disappointed to say goodbye to the others, actually. They were an unusually attractive set! They should have kept the top line transparent white, and left the font as it was. The new font looks very function without the form. Oh well, I'm sure we will see changes as ever over the next few weeks and months.

The music is great - just what News 24 needed to up the pace.

Indeed. I always found N24 rather soporific when I had it on in the background in the office.

It's amazing how much the slightly pacier music makes the whole thing seem so much livelier.

Well I can use two of my favourite words "swish" and "swooshes". The new lower third is much better - nice to see the tower removed and the ridiculously large text gone (although I'll no longer be able to walk past my local HSBC and see what the main story is now!). The new title sequence is an improvement. Although the dynamic text was a nifty thing, I doubt any viewers really appreciated it so going back to fully rendered (for want of a better phrase), pre-recorded type titles is good. I like the way the music has a bit of a start and end now. It's surprising too how much a pacier headline bed can make the difference.

Astons look pretty decent to me - nothing radical but smart enough. I knew the N24 Tonight titles were short but this is ridiculous! Pretty, but I thought it was a static caption for a second.

I'll add to the "move the clock over" group - I'm watching w/s on a 4:3 set and it currently says "0:15", which is great until the afternoon as it's chopped off the first digit! Either move it over, shrinking the width of the ticker a bit or have the bit where the logo is flip between the logo and the clock every few seconds.

I've been busy recently with this n' that so I didn't know there was a rebrand on the cards until I saw the thread on the forum!

Anyway, I've had a quick look at the TOTH at 12am and the first thing that struck out at me on the opening titles were how Sky-Newsy they were, with the globe and the words light around it. The mid bulletin headline bed had more spunk to it compared to the old ones, which were a bit drab.

The visuals remind me of some old Sky News titles for some reason. The new remixed headline bed is a bit more punchier though and reminds me of one of the old World countdowns.

Are these WBR graphics new? I haven't seen it recently so apologies if they've been like this for a while:
