I think this is a really stupid move for TV journalism. I don't know why we need these big moments - 100 days? Wow, it's the first three figure number. Understandabely for Alan Johnston because he's a journalist his self.
Madeline is one of many missing children who has been potentially kidnapped - I really feel for their family but it's not helping with this constant bombardment of small updates and such which actually mean, 'Madeline has not been found.' The family say they want to keep it in the media spotlight to remind the public but I don't think we're going to forgot that face for a long time to come.
It is a horrible & upsetting story though.

There was no countdown at 9pm - it was straight from the weather back to the studio.

Incidentally, does anyone know what building or studio the new "Central London" backdrop featuring Canary Wharf on the LHS and Tower Bridge on the RHS comes from?
I suspect it's not from a BBC Building and just used for set decoration.
