Did anyone notice the online stream is broken today?

Yes, for nearly a week now. I was last able to get a feed Saturday close to 0700GMT. Are you located in or out of the UK?

I think the autocue went blank at 9PM on N24 because Matt Frei randomly said if you're effected by the floods ring <number> then it went straight to a report.

I've noticed that for the last few days the ticker and DOG appear to have moved back down to where they were before the minor graphics refresh a few weeks ago (at the time when the red breaking news ticker was introduced). On my TV the BBC logo and the box with the clock in now touch the bottom of the screen again.

It's a shame as it was looking better, and less cramped at the bottom of the screen. Hopefully someone will notice and put it back as it was.

I thought my TV was going overscan crazy when I saw it the other day. Why would they move it back despite knowing people were having problems?

I thought this too, the ticker clock and dog are now unreadable as my TV seems to be really bad for overscan.

They just had a split screen up but instead of the usual News 24 Tonight Backing with the globe and data stream, they had the plasma-style backing which they used when fading between headline pictures. It looked very nice. I presume it was a mistake rather than a change in presentation.

Yeah, I was going to post that too. It's really annoying, because it looks wrong.

Oh that's odd. So Sophie did the One O Clock News, and then went to BBC News 24?
