The powercut didn't affect the entire building - in our office in Spur, the lights flickered a bit, and the air con went off, but everything else stayed on. Most other places appeared to be on emergency lighting only, and some offices had lost their power too.
Perhaps they trusted the power in TC7 more than in the news centre?

how great is it to see alastair yates on the 'eakin' shift? i do like chris...but big al is great!! as for joanna...seems odd she hasn't made it further. I think her and Ben could be very good on Breakfast. And Matt Frei seems to be relaxing into the evening shifts. Richard Bilton would be lovely in a suit with someone like Kate tho.

Gosh, I noticed that too. He kept making jokes and she just blanked him at times. He was really very good, but seemed to either threaten or annoy her. Is there any reason why there are some alternative anchorships at the moment... Clive and Kate this morning.
