Jonathan Charles from 'World' is now on N24 with Louise. It's good to see a 'World' presenter occassionally come to N24 and vice versa.

Was that so the Alan Jonston rally could be easily simulcast at 2 or just for the craic?
It wasn't simulcast. World and N24 were separate as News 24 showed Alan watching World who were showing different pictures.

No, it was definitely separate as News 24 said, "there's Alan in Jerusalem watching our sister station BBC World". It was no satellite delay.

Yes, I was. Lyse Doucet anchored throughout. Jonathan Charles had done World News Today at lunchtime, so was presumably free to do News 24.
