Another graphics crash at the 4pm toth.

Regarding the Countdown, does anyone else think it sounds better if they leave the countdown to run longer at the end before they crash into the bed? The new mix seems to have a drone and a bed after it, and sounds better when theres a few seconds before the headline bed kicks in. Sounds way more pacey.

I prefer for it to head straight into the bed. Although I will say the music ends to early with the new countdown packages - the 'BBC News 24' logo which shows up in the stream at the end often gets cut off after an incredibly short time. If that got shown a slight bit earlier there'd be a proper point in having it.

Interesting how Paisley looked an awful lot like Iraq in the 4pm TOTH link there. Resembled London as well actually Wink

A quick question, was Joanna Gosling on BBC News anytime this weekend?

I saw her on News 24 live from the Diana concert at Wembley on Sunday night. Why do you ask?

I think I was sat opposite her on the tube on Sunday morning. As she got on at Shephard's Bush and got off at Paddington I think that confirms it. Good to see the BBC staff using public transport

Was a slight fault at this morning; during the break at 5:30 a BBC FOUR trail reached the end and froze. Was followed by a black screen, and then the breakdown caption, which was up for about 45 seconds - after which everything carried on as normal.

Well most of the Wimbledon stuff I've seen has had a Press Red dog on it - I know it's not live, as I can't turn it off, and I'm on Virgin, and it's the prompt used on Sky.

On Virgin Media, press blue and it **should** disappear - or on Sky press "Back Up" and it should go. It might be something else but I am sure they can be removed.

No he means that the BBC have recorded from Sky or Freeview to use in sports round-ups on N24 and have left the interactive prompt on.

Apologies then! Yeah it's very annoying and stupid that they can't manage to get a clean version of their own feed.
