When the full screen logo appears it seems to wipe down over the dog so it is likely burnt on unless the graphics man was very good - unlike the sound man who left the sound up when tractor cam trundled along.

I don't even like that ariel shot- although it moves the picture is a really drained colour and the noise is terrible. I'd just start with a wide shot from another cam.

Yep it is burnt on. The logo slid off to the right and the BBC News 24 logo remained underneath during the countdown!

Why do they keep tinkering - the last one was fine. Does Word's do the same now?
One problem I've spotted was when the end '|B|B|C| NEWS 24' faded out into the headlines miliseconds after it appeared - they need to leave it up for at least a second.

No changes to BBC Worlds countdown but BBC Worlds has finished with this ever since 2005!
