I don't think so, isn't Martine just a relief presenter now (as well as overnight). Maybe Anita is sick or on holiday...
And since you mentioned Martine, I think she is a really good newsreader, and feel she brings a sort of 'senior' feel to News 24 (in that she's talented). What does anyone else think of her?

Anita mcveigh is also good but were she is. But i can see her as a relife on the nationals or newsnight

New TOTH countdown. White clock in the far right hand corner, and the BBC News 24 stays on the left hand side. Looks like new images as well
In the 16 seconds we saw - Huw Edwards out in Iraq I think, Natasha Kaplinsky by the London Eye, John Simpson probably Iraq, and Matt Frei at the White House. The countdown then uses the same images as before with the red steam going into the satellite dish at White City,

The music, although mostly the same, sounded a little different somehow don't know if anybody who saw it thought the same. Perhaps a small update?

Just saw it there - it's the same music just with more swooshes from those all important 'data streams' plus it seems more personality driven than random shots of crews on location. There's also a few new shots showing trucks and the streams.
A News 24 logo now appears at the end on the red boxes.

Different pictures in the 10AM countdown, and this one ended with the BBC NEWS 24 logo in white centred screen, reminded me slightly of the way BBC World does when it has the putting news first bit.
45 second focused on correspondents in the Middle East and Asia. Towards the end both Huw Edwards and Natasha Kaplinsky were featured. It also featured Andy Tighe at the High Court and Jon Sopel in London. There are elements from the previous versions.
