News 24 just went spazzy, there was some breaking news and they put the headline over the breaking news, so neither were readable......... the item only lasted for a matter of seconds, so I don't even know whats going on! It's something to do with gordon brown talking about military in filton, bristol.
except one thing that i've noticed a lot lately. The map of iraq and then baghdad has been up for ages with nothing else on. You can hear interviews in the background but the maps on N24 drive me nuts! They always seem to be on screen for hours - why can't they show some library footage of the area with the map on a split-screen :

I agree - It is getting like US tv, they have three people live at the same time, central london, foreign office and baghdad.
I am now (at 7:18 UK time) watching the live stream....but it says "Coverage suspended"........There are live pictures of Breakfast behind.....What happpened???
