They had what looked like a GCI panel where the rarely used pod is.
Interesting! Perhaps they will use it more.
I watched that, and had no idea what its purpose was. It displayed a static graphic, fairly similar to that on the standard screen, for the duration of the report. All story-relevant graphics were shown on the standard screen, and the static CG overlay image stayed exactly the same.
While delivering the text from the Autocue, Huw kept looking every couple of seconds off camera, as if expecting something else to happen - though nothing did.

Maby the new display was supposed to move, or do somthling.
You could see they made it slightly transparent, i could just make out the news room in the background.
It reminds me of the film 24 graphics, where the curtains come over the pod.

I dont get it- what i Emily Matlis actually used for, at the moment she just seems like a fill in anchor and they cant think of anything to do with her?
