Phillippa actually used to have a regular slot from 19:00 to 23:00 with Jon Sopel before Louise Minchin took over.... this is going back a couple of years...

I thought Phillipa Thomas was good on N24 anchoring the Friday 17:00 hour from King's Cross with Chris Eakin at a different location. Never seen her presenting, and the aston said "Special Correspondent" - I wonder if she was originally meant to hand back to Eakin but the line had dropped, the sound was dodgy when we did go back to him later.

I dont like this arrangement with the female presenters, I'd prefer Kate Silverton to go to the Friday and weekend evenings and get Joanna to return to the morning shift .
Moving Karin to the evening slot in the week is good idea though. She should stay there for a time.

Looks like Kate Silverton has replaced Anna Jones.
Is Karin Giannone (sp?) permanantly taking over the 7 shift at weekends? If so, whats happening to Joanna Gosling?

I think BBC TWO just took a News Report from News 24.
After a noticeable pause Louise Minichin said "Good Afternoon" then quickly summarised the latest news on the Leed's raids etc, then said the next news will be on BBC ONE at 6.
I switched to ONE but they where in a kids prog, and TWO had just finished something as they had an ident into Ready Steady Cook, some persumably they took a report.
Would BBC TWO viewers recognize Louise Minchin?

Probably not. She has only really had exposure on BBC Radio 5 Live, and then, all you get is her voice.
I actually like Louise, she is definitely one of the better N24 female presenters. She is currently on with Tim "I can work every shift possible" Willcox...
