Julian Worricker back on News 24 today, working with Kate Silverton. He is very good - deserves a regular slot I think. However, as mentioned, his 5 Live role seems quite high.

As I've mentioned before, his handling and technique of dealing with Breaking News is outstanding.

Just as a matter of interest which of these two do you think would be better on the six?

Raworth or Bruce?

Fiona Bruce. Sophie Raworth is more 'lighter' and would be better for say the One whereas Fiona Bruce, all though not that hard IMO, has had experience on the Ten and therefore would be suitable for something in the middle of the One and Ten - the Six.

Neither. Should be Ford or Stuart on the Six. Or, if none of them were acceptable, I would like to see Raworth continue, if it were a choice between her and Fiona Bruce.

I just can't get to grips with Fiona Bruce at all.

I noticed this morning that News 24 seems to be using the location maps again for live reports/interviews, although they've lost all their colour and are just black and grey with white text. Looks a bit drab IMO.

Heaven forbid - the presenters might actually become interesting.

I think this criticism that presenters are not interesting is pretty invalid really. Surely different people find different other people interesting.

I find the excuses for human beings that are on Big Brother completely uninteresting, but millions of people are fascinated by their every belch. On the other hand I find the people they have on Question Time interesting and I would have thought your average BB viewer would be yawning all the way through.
