Is it just my imagination, or is the BBC Sport logo on the ticker stretched a bit too wide? I'm sure when it was used previously the text didn't touch the edge of the box as it does now.
Also, has the Business graphic been changed yet? Surely someone must have noticed how unreadable it is by now.

I'm not normally one to comment on Bore 24, but I was watching it last night and they used a studio I've never seen before for World Business Report or whatever it was. It looked huge, and had a big C-shaped desk. I'm not really a fan of the BBC News look but I thought it looked excellent. Is it new?

Does anybody know what has happened to Maxine Mawhinney lately? I dont think ive seen her on News 24 since the general election.

She presented Monday to Wednesday from 1300-1600 this week. This is her usual shift. She'd been away for some weeks but IIRC she already returned last week.
