and credit to the studio designers of News 24, it really is a versatile multipurpose set with a lot of interesting elements added to the process, I really liked the way they opened up the right hand side of the set, so you can see the huge windows in the background.

Just to summarise for you "News24"...
09:00-10:00 News 24 Sunday with Peter Sissons
10:00-15:00 Tim Willcox
15:00-19:00 Phil Hayton
That lineup makes a lot more sense. I never understood why they stuck Peter Sissons on for two hours. How come Carrie Gracie doesn't do Sunday morning? I'd have thought that she would have done 09.00-13.00 Friday - Sunday (or now 10.00-15.00 on Sunday)

So who's been on today? Watching now Phil Hayton is on as usual. Did Sissons just do the 1 hour or did he stay on until 13.00 on News24?

Carrie Gracie only seems to do Friday and Saturday morning - she never seems to be used as cover during the rest of the week. What does she or any other rarely used presenters (such as Liz Pike) do for the rest of the week? Would she simply only work 2 days a week, or would she work as a normal journalist in the newsroom?

It isn''t specifically for this programme, I was talking about the News 24 set in general.

Despite the fact that the show has such a rubbishy name and is yet another example of them getting News 24 branding on BBC1, here's some captures

Isn't it more a case of getting the branding on Sky, ITV etc when the clips are picked up and used later. Just look at the backing for the outside studios.

Does anybody else think that Anna Jones looks quite nice today. Lovely red outfit on - co-ordinates well with decor of the News 24 set!

Jesus. I hope not. I hope this is a regular slot now for Tim.
