Well I thought it was my reception to start with -- but she does sound a bit pokey.
Almost like she's permanently about to sneeze.
She's been sounding like that for the last week or soon.
Yea thats true. and I was suprised to see no cup of water in sight

Just a small unrelated point.... I noticed that currently on BBC News Interactive (FreeView) that in the News box there is a note saying that the service is currently unavailable. Interestingly as I speak it's just shown a weather forecast that keeps freezing.

It was the normal BBC World headline bed. Much better than News 24's IMO.

loved the headline bed for last nights "eu special", it fitted well with the countdown and sound quite dramatic too.

Yes much better than the News 24 thing. I wish they'd changed it when they had the countdown change...
BBC World does generally seem to be able to pull these out of the hat, In all fairness BBC World has had the better beds for ages, very stylish yet attention grabing.
News 24's sounds a bit like the crazy frog remix.....

I prefer News 24's IMHO, I prefered the previous World headline Beds, much more dramatic.

Yes World does have this wonderful trick... Pitty none of them are released now considering there not been used. Would be nice to hear them again mind.
There is always the chance that David Lowe might send them out, if enough of us got together, and requested

Nice idea but I think its the BBC you'd need to try - they after all are the ones who bought the package.
But if any "action" were to be taken I would strongly advice that Newswatch not be used - It's utter rubbish...

How would you go about requesting the old headline beds? Would you right a letter or email them or get a petition? Alternatively we could always suggest they release a 'Best of BBC News Music' on CD!
