That link doesn't really help much in answering BBC World's question.

Where is Paul Walsh reporting from these days? Not seen him for a while.
Nice camerawork on News 24 this afternoon, some nice movements from the robotic camera and some good shots craning down and zooming in whilst presenters do pieces to camera.
Susuanna Reid must be off on maternity leave soon, they are still managing to hide her lump. They're not having her in the standing up pod, she's doing all links from behind the desk

A question about a certain BBC News 24 newsreader...where has Maxine Mawhinney disappeared to? I have not seen her in aaaaages on News 24. Anybody know anything?
Also, I noticed this afternoon that Matthew Amroliwala is truly terrible at breaking news stories. Throughout the whole breaking news report of those protectors being found guilty, Matthew said in between every third word "the errrrr" - sounds very clumsy.
Phil Hayton, Jon Sopel and Chris Eakin are a lot better at dealing with breaking news stories. I have gone off Matthew Amroliwala a lot . I don't think much of his presenting these days, he's too posh, tries too hard and does not have good chemistry with Susanna Reid or Kate Silverton.

See we now have a simulcast with BBC ONE North West Tonight on N24 now.
I presume this is the cutback version - unlike the Ellen MacArthur - multifeeds

Why did News 24 insist on sticking their own graphics over NWT - not neccessary at all?
I'm getting rather fed up of this on-screen junk on all the news channels generally cutting 1/3 of the picture with often quite useless information.
It was one of the positive things about the "back to basics" BBC Strike 24 News bulletins - no pointless graphics giving us pretty useless information.

Why should a tv news channel only show pictures? If you agree to watch a news channel, you agree to watch tickers, bugs, straps, etc etc.
