Was this morning's Breakfast (with Dermot and Natasha) simulcast on N24 because when I switched on at around 08:40, Phil Hayton was presenting on his own?

News 24 are probably breaking away from Breakfast at 830 in order to cover the political pressers. They did it last time.

News 24 Now Showing Jon Sopel and three reporters not from the studio but from the newsroom just behind the frosted glass or plastic!! of the set, looks very interesting but the camera is a bit wobbly!!

Good to see the BBC putting Ben Geogeghan (or however you spell it) to good use on the Election Bus. Didn't he have a presenting slot at News 24 at one time?

AFAIK he did have a slot with Weekend24 for a while with Julie Etchingham and he did a few evening stints with Joanna Gosling.
Back in early Cream and Maroon days 2000-2001 I think.

Good presenter, good reporter too he did some work for Newsnight.

I have no caps sorry, but it looked good and is a nice change, they were stood just behind the glass where the presenter on the left would sit
Tip-They may repeat it in the next hour about 30-40 mins or so.
I think the BBC's Election coverage so far has been 2nd to none!

Oh yes, remember Jackie Hardgrave? That's going back a bit! IIRC, she left, and was replaced by overnight presenter Joanna Gosling.
