We were treated to a full frontal noise attack from the tractor cam at the TOTH at 8pm tonight

Also, earlier on the rare-ish sight of a 'Breaking News' strap over the weather forecast to inform us of Terri Schivo's death.

They used Tractor Cam last night for the paper review with Peter Dobbie and some women from the Times, you really could hear the cam going across, it's surprising loud.
Has anyone else noticed they've updated the titles on News Muiltiscreen (Freeview at least) with the red titles for the Top Story screen.

Yep - still no idea what the weather is in Glasgow as a result. God help people who live in the Borders... Razz

To say it's meant to be loud, I haven't heard it once. Is it clearly audible over the music at the TOTH or during extensive interviews?

Why is Phillip Hayton doing two shifts today?
He was on earlier- (9am-1pm)- with Sophie Raworth.

How can you not here it! Its the first thing you here after the opening titles and goes on for at least 5 seconds when the presenter starts reading

Jon's in Rome covering the pope's health - probably the only person they could find at short notice. Kate Silverton was on 9-11.

Good to see a 47 second countdown just before 4 - I quite like it...

I've just been listening to a TOTH with the aerial camera moving and the only thing I can hear is the long note held on at the end of the titles.
Can you hear it on the file below?
