Ah, I see. A more mature version of MTV Flux?

I would like to see how News 24 would do this...

I really wouldn't.
I'm very thankful that N24 has been (relatively) restrained in the harvesting of people's opinions.

News 24 used webcams last week for the David Cameron interview on the Five o'clock news.

I think 5am is a great time, when The World Today is on, simualcast on both News 24 and World. 8.30 would be horrible, they wouldn't have a TOTH.
5.00 is good that also more people will see it, ie workers.

Absolutely. All "workers" get up at 5am to watch News 24.

you're a moron - what would having more people see it - i.e workers - have to do with the relaunch time? The news 24 day starts at 8.30 interrupted by breakfast. Therefore it is much more likely it'll change at 8.30 on News 24, and either 8 or nine on world.

News 24 is more important than world, therefore it gets the priority.

plus why do you sign all of your posts? do you think we can't read your username a few pixels to the left?

I agree with Barney. UGC (as we seem to be calling it now) is most useful in big breaking news stories when there's no TV crew at the scene, but used elswhere it smacks of cheap filler. Mind you it was fun seeing that scaffolding fall down earlier this week, low res phone camera or not Wink

What are you talking about? They ain't scheduling new graphics (which many people either won't notice or not care too much about) around what time milkmen get up.

Yeah, as I said on the last page, 5am is the first time World broadcasts on it's own after N9 has been off air for 4 hours, so it makes sense it'll be then. 8.30am will no doubt be the first time the new graphics come from N8, after 3.5 hours of N8 being off air.

No graphics (bar a DOG) on News 24 at the moment... Edit: they're back.
