I do post, but expect some stick from people like clapham and the others. As far as i can see they are actually putting no real imput into these posts, just here to call the other users names.

This is the type of thing i mean, but because they are such long term members they will not get banned or warned.

No, not at all. If they over stepped the mark, then action would be taken against them. The fact remains that they have been very helpful in this thread. If you actually took the time to read their posts, you would have figured out the cryptic messages and would now know exactly what's changing on News 24.

No, long etablished members do get banned and warned, though its not as common because they know what not to do, unlike a lot of newer members.

I'm sure that Hymagumba did not mean to upset you by saying that, rather he was getting annoyed at your generic 'has it happened yet' post.

If you have read what has been posted since last Sunday, but still have no idea of what's happening on News24, then I don't understand why we have to tell you (goes out to several people). I'm sure all the hints that can be given were, and it's really not that hard to spot.

Asking a question about something that has already been answered in the last few pages of a thread in a definate no-no on the whole internet. Breaking this rule once is likely to get a few piss-takes, but breaking it again, several times, just annoys people.

Funny enough I don't come on here to decipher cryptic messages, I just look for information and being that this is a community, I did, quite wrongfully I know realise, expect that I could ask a straightforward question and get a straightforward answer.

You sound a little peeved that your expectations of TV Forum have been less than realised. That's not really the fault of anyone here.

If you want advance knowledge of future changes, then read carefully and thoroughly. I've never felt the need to inquire further in this type of thread, and I've been a member for many years. Whatever information can be given will be given, in whatever form that takes.

You will find it easier to ingratiate yourself if you take that on board.

Still at home with pneumonia, having dreadful coughing fits, a real tickler. Trouble with this tickler is that it's sporadic and random. You think it's going to start and it doesn't and other times it just splutters out in the middle of everything. Spoke to my Specialist from Bergen and it's like he's never heard of a tickler before. Suggested It's because I'm using "old fashioned CRT-based cough syrup". Like, doesn't everyone? If he can fix this tickler in the next couple of days I should be up and running and back to work nice and early next Monday.

How's your tickler cough, Clapham? Is it better now? If so, now you've shifted that do you have any other complaints now? Do you think you'll be able to come in to work on Monday?

reading through yesterday evening's post has really made me start to despair.

It's bad enough that certaing members cannot decipher some fairly obvious clues, but it's a pretty sorry state of affairs when thay can't even understand Moz's interpretation of those clues.

if anyone is interested, I am still off work ill, I am signed off until the middle of next week, but my doctor assures me that everyone is working hard to make sure that the issues I've been having with my dry throat and the cough that goes with it, what I like to refer to as the Tickler, should be cleared up by monday morning..... yep, monday morning.....

I don't think they understand that BBC employees, like those of any company, aren't supposed to blatantly announce the internal goings on of that company, and are quite rude to expect them to do so. When they're told that they're out of order for doing so they don't like it.
