To be fair, it makes a hell of lot more sense than your sig. It's just not very funny.

I disagree.

I agree to disagree.

I really don't know. All of it makes sense to me.

This thread is really going to the dogs isnt it.

Ive noticed that the News 24 tonight title sequence froze at the end last night, and then faded to the studio. Is this normal? Or might they put a swishy wishy transition there if they revamp.

The animation for News 24 Tonight is very finite, unlike the other N24 titles which continue to animate seemingly indefinitely while they are faded out. Strangely, with N24 Tonight, the animation very definitely stops, and the window between letting the whole sequence play out and cross-fading to the presenters before it stops seems to be about half a second.

A shame really, because it's actually quite a nice title sequence.

Speaking of which, am I the only person who's noticed what appears to be the News 24 Tonight orb stuck inside/reflected upon the more glassy globe of the Nationals titles?

Yes, I know it's not at all clear on that image - just look out for it on the Nationals sequences, on the left side of the globe. Once you spot it, it's unmistakable.

No, you're not, in the nationals thread quite a few people have picked up on it. Probally just a random image in the render to make the globe look more reflective. Its been there a while.

Source?

Read the last page, moron.

Honestly, I don't get what this obsession is with the word "source?". If you've got half a f*cking brain cell, look around before posting.

Whoops, my bad - no idea how I managed to miss the post in question Embarassed

Anyway, with the talk of rumours starting here, snowballing, then being reported as fact; how about we start a blatantly ridiculous rumour and see how long it takes to be reported as actual news? Very Happy

My point is that short of a handful of regional types (yes you can spot their anoraks a mile off) the first line is meaningless- I haven't got a clue whether the reference to a "tits" magee is a reference to

a) large bosoms
b) libelous
c) a real name

The second line referring to "clooks" is not English (I know you didn't write it originally, but it's in your sig and it simply doesn't make sense).

Compared to:

Quote:
British television when it catches up with American television:
"If you have been affected by any of the issues in this advert break, please contact the action line. Next on BBC One, the new Tweenies for adolescents, the Teenies. This programme contains strong language, violence, nudity, and racist views."

Which is a poor attempt of humour, but, compared to your sig has some meaning. Namely:

a) A comment on how British culture invariably follows our American counterparts
b) A comment on the excess advertising on American TV (and the spread here)
c) A comment on American litigious culture attempting to cover their asses at every given opportunity.
d) A comment on the slow dumbing down of British TV.

You see in comparison to your sig, I read it and derived some meaning. It's still a poor sig, but yours is frankly awful.

Case closed.

Back to BBC News 24.

For heavens sake, you must have such a sad life if you wrote all that about Hyma's signature. The reason he has a quote from another member in his signature is because it was funny , if you can grasp the meaning of the word.

As for the other sentence. Well. You must be just stupid.
