But why would any "rehearsals" of the new graphics need be to on-air? Don't you think they can test things off air? I don't buy this supposed sighting to be honest - the poster admitted it was an out-of-the-corner-of-the-eye sort of thing.
I do love the absurd theorists on this forum sometimes.
I think N24 will have a green and lime look, and this will match it up with ITV. They will Have big signs at the Back of the studio saying bbc News 24.
then my new satellite website opens tomorrow, and i will mak e it good.
then i will design a new website for news 24 which will be used by them on the shintysixth of September.
As I said in a Sky News thread, I'm very impressed at the way the BBC seem to be blurring the boundaries between the role of reporter and presenter. It just seems to be a team of people who are equally happy reporting from a scene and presenting from behind a desk (and both the N6 and N8 desks at that).
Brian Hanrahan is an example of this. His experience in the field brings a new angle to his ability to present. Likewise I think having presented in a studio brings something to a reporter's style and impact.
Lets see more of it - Huw Edwards reporting from College Green back to Daniel Sandford who's presenting from the studio. Using Huw's political knowledge, the impact of him being a main presenter, and Daniel's skills as a reporter in the studio. I think it works.
Yeah Jago did a good job. I think I have said before about the light box in C4's set, and N6 is exactly the same! The N24 set is fine for now, apart from the screens.

Indeed, I agree - Brian is really good and suits the weekend evening slot particuarly well - him and Annita seem to get on well too. Whats happened to Chris Lowe though?
And, on this note, Sports Correspondent Adam Parsons has just started presenting alongside Maxine...
Adam Parsons presenting news, and James Pearce presenting sport today in the N24 studio. Nice to see James in the studio. His documentary looking back on the World Cup, shown over the holiday period, was very well put together and a really enjoyable watch (except, of course, for the obvious reason). He seems to be a very nice chap with a thorough interest and passion for what he does.
Also tonight, Nicky doing Entertainment 24 and the headlines loop.
