I think it's to do with which gallery the feed for BBCi and News Online comes from. I'd imagine they just use the same astons as the nationals, rather than it being a hint of any future changes.

The BBCi News Headlines Loop astons are generated in a totally different way to both Nationals and News 24 as they don't have a gallery. And the reason it's a large font is you only see them in quarter size for real like on freeview rather than full frame so it makes it easier to read.

Well the BBC have sent alot of presenters to the scene, with Joanna Gosling, John Sopel, Huw Edwards and George Alagiah in Suffolk. Plus i am sure i heard Fiona in the press conference this morning. Soon there will be no one left in London to present the other news items.

Ever strike anyone ironic how the BBC's chief news presenter goes off air just as millions of viewers turn on the telly for the news!

I wasn't talking about the Suffolk Murders, I was just talking in general - chief presenter Huw goes off air at 6pm as the most watched news programme goes on air. Ironic. There are no other examples of this surely?
