Do you not think it's important that the Russian Government are apparently poisoning and killing their opponents? It's a huge story.

So something shouldn't be widely reported because there are incidents of it happening before? It is a very big story, as shown by the global prominence it has received.

I agree with the poster who said some people here are too busy spunking their trunks over TOTHs and DOGs that they lose sight of the real news! Very Happy

That was a general final comment by the way about the forum, not aimed at anyone in particular. I actually agree with a lot of what you say James about the way they have reported it.

So... Monday morning and no rebrand. How odd. You'd think that News 24 would feel compelled to rebrand this morning after the tizz that people got themselves into on this forum this weekend. And all because someone played out a Nationals strap on News 24....

Maybe someone in the gallery just thought it'd be funny to put a 'nationals' strap on for a split second in order to see the pages of reaction it would generate here.

have noticed the new N24 promo with the corespondants all over the world - looks good but the ending is a little crap - just a black screen with a flat BBC News 24 logo rather than the red lines and junk

well - they add a little depth to the promo

possibly zooming out from a vid. of a correspondent and add more on the screen then all swirl into a globe ( a bit like the 'oust' advert) then the red lines and white/red backgrounds come in

They would like it very much.
