BBC News 24

I have to say I love the new countdown and music, very dramatic, particularly the booms on :22 and :14 and towards the end of the countdown. Like the way the image of TVC zooms in. Would be nice if when the stripes come in at the end the N24 logo appears.

That really does look and sounds like. We are the BBC, We are the Best. I love the fact they have FINALLY cut the pictures to the music. With fast shots of the BBC logo on various things at each thunderclap, which there are alot more off now.

I'd be more bothered about the lasers shotitng around helecopyters myself but I suppose it wouldn't get into Warballs then.

I love it. The music is perfectly timed with the pictures and the whole thing just screams "we're better than anyone else". Which is fab. These nightime ones sound interesting if nowt else.

The rapid crash zoom in and outs on the satellite dish are quite poor though in my opinion - makes it look more like Top of the Pops!

i think you'll find it's a zoom on the BBC logo, it screams BBC BBC BBC BBC to me

I like the shots of the newsroom "behind the scenes" look behing the main studio set.... i am thoroughly impressed!!

that is BRILLIANT man! i also love the intro of the 99-03 BBC world Headlines bed at the very end... thats my favourite bed of all BBC news programmes.

me too!! I dont understand why bbc world do not have a countdown like this with shots of their newsroom too.

does anybody have any images of this new BBC News 24 countdown? I've only seen it briefly today before top of the hour, but would like to see it in more detail.
