BIG MOIRA is joining News 24. Also, Tim Willcox will now be allowed one day off per month, starting from 1st January 2007, but only if he agrees to take a cut in wages. Peter Sissons will retire from the BBC and will return to ITN to be the main presenter of the Lunchtime News. Huw Edwards will leave newscasting and become the new host of Question Time, opening up the Five O'clock slot for Ginny Buckley, who will join from Sky News. And...........did I mention that BIG MOIRA will be joining News 24???

Apparently The Five O'clock News Hour now regularly gets over double the viewers that Live At Five does...Just shows how much News 24 has improved in the past few years - incidentally, I hear more big changes are ahead in the next few months...

Maybe, but even the mighty BBC can only manage a handful more viewers a week than sky

I disagree - Halloween is a story as the police are worried that trick or treat is getting out of hand - last year there was a rise in violence .. police leave has been cancelled in many areas, there will be on the spot fines. It is a very serious issue - especially for elderly people. Although the screen grab is a mock

Sorry Nicky, the screen grab isn't a mock, that's exactly how it was on screen at 16.55. They also used the same image on the studio walls in N6 when they covered the story during the '6'.

There is a redesign on the cards with N24, the above is from Rob Shergolds site (N24's Senior Graphic Designer)
