I do like the BBC World feature that they used to do every weekday, now just occurs on a Sunday just after 09.30. (Even more so this week, as Tony was on)
They must let Tim sleep at TVC. There's no way he could get home again and come back in, it's virtually a waste of time travelling home, that's how little sleep he'd get. Maybe he has a sleeping bag beneath the desk

They probably have rooms in local hotels which they can use.
Last night before 2am (well, 1am), the countdown ended and went straight to the sting (which is usually shown on a Saturday night - why?) and we seen a glimpse of the News 24 clock changing from '1.59' to '1.00'.
Very uninteresting but I thought it would be worth mentioning. Oh, and the ticker went on for about 3 seconds during the countdown.
Yes, 01.00 every Sunday morning they do the sting at the TOTH. If you watch carefully, you can just about make out where World opt out after around 10' in. Although obviously last night, they did it twice, two hours running, as the clocks went back here.
Apparently The Five O'clock News Hour now regularly gets over double the viewers that Live At Five does...Just shows how much News 24 has improved in the past few years - incidentally, I hear more big changes are ahead in the next few months...
