I think it might be blue.

Well as you can now see it's not blue ... no surprise there's red in it. So what do people think putting correspondents etc into the countdown? And the new music.

I haven't seen the new countdown yet, but from the sounds of it, it was an idea I posted on this forum 18 months ago!

I haven't heard the re-worked music yet, I'll have a listen at 10am. I liked the December 2003 mix though - fast, bassy and sounded fab through a surround system with pro logic! Wink

Thing is though, that countdown is damn quick - it makes the headline bed and titles seem VEEEERRRYYY slow!

The new mix is very Wales Today, which is very The World. I think DL is trying to give all the news programmes a faster-paced feel. I'm just puking out a headline bed to go with the new c/down now. But I love the new mix.

Oh, btw, thanks JM, look forward to hearing it.

A separate thread was created about this, but it seems that this one is probably better place to put comments! In the other thread I wrote the fllowing in response to the countdown:

On Dateline yesterday, Nik Gowing alluded to the fact that they are moving studio as of next weekend. Where is this going to be? Will it be the same studio as used for Three News/Newswatch/Webscape (Click Online)/Flight Track (Fast Track)??

Any ideas anyone?
