The overnight World/News 24 simulcast with Alistair is coming from the World studio tonight, Breakfast will kick off from N6 in the morning.

Just so people can see what the N8 background looks like in N6...

It appears they're using the national news studio, as it appears to be a greyish floor.


They're simulcasting BBC World at 11am though. Why's that?

There also seems to be something weird about the graphics: like they're double scanning or something.

It would have been planned to simmulcast World now, as N6 is having to get ready for Sportsround. If it was just a normal news summary then the 11am hour would have come from N6, but the set requires a little prep, which may disrupt News 24.

I wonder if Dateline London will come from N6. If it does I think they should use the sofa.

Will be interesting to see what they do with News 24 Sunday too. If Sportsround is in N6 now, and News 24 are simulcasting BBC World, where will the BBC One summary at 12.00 be?

I quite like that background in N6. I prefer it to the silly clouds and skyline.

Shocked A very good point! I can't see there being a BBC One/News 24/BBC World simulcast! Perhaps it'll come from TC7!?
