BBC News 24

Over the coming bank holiday weekend watch out for a studio shuffle for News 24. There is a reason for this and it will only be temporary.
The normal move where News 24 moves into World's studio and BBC World moving into the national news studio will not be happening due to Monday being a regular work day in most of the rest of the world.

What is the reason?

And where will News 24 be moving to if not the World studio?

Is it me or has the fathest left big screen in the News 24 newsroom gone missing? It went all black for a while (last time I watched last night and this morning) and now it seems to have gone...

Anyone got an explanation, please.

News 24 will come from N6 (National News studio) for the weekend of the BHol weekend and BBC1 will be simulcast with N24. N8 (News 24's regular home) is shut for mandatory electrical testing.

PERHAPS THIS MEANS A RELUNCH?

Presumably that will mean there will be tight junctions between Breakfast and the start of News 24... so when will they have time to move the sofa out...perhaps during a back half hour prog? or will Brekkie just have to do without the sofa that day?

Do they normally rehearse the BBC 1 bulletins(The reason why ITV NC always moved studios prior to an ITV 1 simulcast!)?

Is it normally a straight opt in to the N24 presenter?

Bearing in mind BBC 1 Saturday lunchtimes have been coming from N24, how have they rehearsed, if indeed they do at all?
