Last night at ten on N24 the headline music continued all the way through the globe and 24 thing which had no music for it playing. The overall effect was rather AWFUL. What is it with their graphics?
They are just overworking Tim nowadays. He's on this morning a grand 9 hours after his last shift. Aren't they ever going to give him a break? Where's Carrie Gracie, and Liz Pike who can do just as good a job (Though not quite as well)?
Is there a translation thred anywhere on the forum for things like TOg and 'the tower'?
If not, could an experienced person start one?

Now I wouldn't call myself experienced, but AFAIK TOG stands for tower originated graphics, with the tower being this:

...he's also been spending quite some time on BBC World as well. It must surely be a matter of time before he finds himself on the nationals.
With all of the breakdowns of the TOG's, I wanted to mention that the BBC World graphics werent up during headlines, and the TOG's didn't come up until the 2nd feature.
It seems that BBC News 24 were simulcasting a lot of the England match - especially the extra time and penalties (they are the bits I saw simulcast when turning over to see what the other channels were upto!)
Even though there was a 'BBC Sport Picturs' caption in the corner and the news reader talking over some of the BBC1 commentary - is this sort of thing allowed?
Emotional scenes in the morning press conference for England.
Surely a record, Tim presented for over 45 minutes stood up in the left hand pod (the desk was set for Dateline London which didn't start until 11.30 due to the England press conference)
During Dateline London 'the hair' was receiving thorough treatment from the makeup woman in the newsroom behind the desk - much hair spray and combing action taking place. He should have his own dressing room for that hair!
Tony Campion is on this afternoon - he's another excellent presenter.
I also see that the rear projection screens in the studio look to have been brightened up again.
Also the England St.George's Flag countdown has been dropped, and the usual 4 countdowns are back in use.
EDIT: Unusually, Tim is back again for another shift tonight - that's 9 hours on air alone today.
