Peter Sissons is really struggling today several flaps in his presentation.

I always regarded as Sissons as a very high standard newsreader but I think he needs to look at taking retirement. The past year or two he justs gets confused and mixed up and god forbid if any breaking news crops up.

They still haven't realised that sissons is wasted on a rolling news channel. Yet where to put him after N24? Some form of daily interview spot would suit him.

I was thinking shove Zeinab Badawi on World Weekends, move Al Yates onto the Sat/Sun afternoon shift (and obviously shift around his overnights) and put Sissons on "The World".

Shhh! Al's a legend!

I find his style very approachable yet informative. I have to admit some of his phrase are a tad 'Moira-esk' but that's part of his appeal.

Anyway, anyone's better than Sissons.

I admire Yates. Partly because he is the London Presenter I always see with the time difference, and I like his presenting, very authoritative, but not uptight like Anna Ford. And I got connections with him.....

Yes, Sissons certainly did struggle this weekend. He's much happier with scripted than with breaking news.

I like the suggestion of Alastair Yates. How about Carrie Gracie?
