Can't you see beyond the end of your nose?

There is now no difference to what is currently called News 24, and the national 1/6/10 bulletins. 'BBC NEWS' will be on air 24 hours a day....the only people who give a shhit about what studio they're in, or who'se presenting, are bods like you.

That's because this is a TV pres discussion forum, so this sort of thing will be of interest.

You knew that from the day you signed up. So did all of us. And yet you complain when we bring up TV pres?

It's alright not being able to see beyond your nose, but it's arrogant tosseurs like you looking down your nose at everybody else that riles people on this forum. Can you sort yourself out and just calm down? You can be an interesting and insightful poster when you're not slotting digs in at innocent anoraks so I wouldn't like to see you struck off our list.

Kate Silverton is apparently doing a report on Panorama this Sunday. (Says so TV Choice) Can anyone vouch for this?

Is it about the unfortunately large number of people who suffer from a symdrome meaning that they can only get dressed in the dark? If so, she'll be able to talk authoritively on the subject. Wink

EDIT:

No, it is true but it's about the number of women waiting until their 40s to have a baby.

Right Time for a Baby?

The number of women having babies in their 40s has doubled in ten years, but putting motherhood on hold is not without risk. At least one in five women in the UK currently die childless and the numbers are rising. Kate Silverton reveals what women need to know about the right time for a baby.

What with this and fashion commentating at Ascot (how ironic!), Kate is a busy girl!

The cjhange to a generic title BBC News to me could be the thin edge of the wedge, We already no longer have rolling news at strategic points of the day. I wonder if post switchover that programmes such as Question Time, The Politics Show, Panorama and The Daily Politics will be subsumed into the channel releasing space on BBC ONE for more 'commercial' product?

Not sure how many caught it but there was a little bit of a spat this morning with Simon and Kate. During the paper review he made explicit reference to the Indy's artilce on Kate. She seemingly took this rather to hard and told him 'I need a word with you'

Harmless banter, I'm sure...

Yes I caught that argument! it was very ammusing, Kate did not look impressed, then during the link to the weather simon said something like while we have a discussion lets have the weather!

Yes Kate did that embarassed laughter thing. She looked quite put out despite the grinning. Not the first time Simon's brought her tabloid appearances to our attention!

Just read that article in the Independent. Not very impressive on their part. First they ask what Philip Hayter [sic] would make of it and refer to Kate as a stunning blonde !

And today it's Simon's turn to be embarrassed - he's in the Daily Star offering to smother David Walliams in vaseline Shocked

Did anyone see the countdown just before the 18.00 bulletin this evening Friday? The mix of music used was totally different and I thought how strange - they've changed it again already, but oh it doesn't work with the other beds. But it hasn't changed. Was there a reason for this one off difference. I did notice that Joanna Gosling linked from the weather to the countdown, but I didn't hear what she said, only managed to turn up the volume as the countdown kicked in at 25 secs. Did anyone else here see this?

They play viewers remixes at 6pm on Fridays.
