I read that far and thought you were suggesting clips of Jane going for a poo should be added to the countdown. I'm sure they could synchronise it nicely to the drum-beats.

You're kidding. No way!!! How come these aren't documented online and all available to download?! It must be that I usually work on a Friday night that I've never heard of this, how long have they done this for?

Have I missed something subtle or is the entry from Caerwyn Jones uncannily like (ie identical to) the original 90 second countdown bed, even down to being 1'33" just like the MP3 of the original I have?

Mediaguardian reporting this morning changes to News 24
"It is also thought News 24 will be given a new on-air look within the next few months.
"News 24 will have a rejig to bring it into line [with the rest of BBC news] while the website will also have a little tweak to bring the whole brand together," the source said."
"In the longer term, the News 24 name is expected to be dropped and the channel retitled BBC News as part of a move to create a uniform brand across all the corporation's output on TV, radio and online. "
