Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere but today (Mon 29th May) as Breakfast ended on News 24 at 08:55, we had a weather forecast with none other than Suzanne Charlton. Has she been working elsewhere with in the BBC or just come back from elsewhere. I haven't seen her for ages.

300 pages and still going strong...........................

It's a shame that at least half of that is dedicated to fantasy presenter schedules and spectacularly dull rota discussions.

Talking of dull rota discussions, did they have a silly 9-10.30am slot again today? It seems more sensible to me on Bank Holidays to have a 9am - 1pm slot and then 1-5 Very Happy

Does anyone know how you can save the entries onto your hard drive?

I have mine in HQ mp3 version, maybe I'll upload it into the mocks forum at some point.

Suzanne left the BBC Weather Centre in 1999. She's done several forecasts recently; she must have returned to cover for Elizabeth Saary/Nina Ridge/Jo Farrow who are all on maternity leave. She even popped up on East Midlands Today a few weeks ago when Sara Blizzard was ill, here's a cap:

I've heard Suzanne read the weather forecast on the Today Programme over the past few weeks.

I was watching News 24 at around 6.30pm-6.50pm, it must have been a special report about the Holocaust, following the story of a survivor of the camps. Anyhow, there was different graphics/name astons used - was this just for this report or is it a permanent feature on N24?

I take multiple caps because the weather graphics are different (albeit slightly) on each one. This is quite usual (see The TV Room etc http://localnews.thetvroom.com/p-bbc-one-reg-news-east-mids-c.shtml http://localnews.thetvroom.com/p-bbc-one-reg-news-east-mids-d.shtml etc.). I probably went a bit over the top by posting them all here; apologies Dunedin if you think this is the case.

My point was merely that your caps were meant to prove that a particular person was presenting the weather.

They weren't meant to show the weather graphics, which we've all seen before, hence my remark about the multiple caps. I'm sorry if this offended you.

I think most people would have believed you without the caps to be honest.

You're right, like I said I got a bit carried away; I'm used to making multiple posts of caps. No offence taken. I've edited my original post.

So we have a new version of the countdown that lasts three minutes and now the "ads" between programmes seem so frequent that I don't think I've seen a countdown last longer than 18 seconds in the past few days...

Is it me, or is the N24 set a masterpice. I think It should have been Implimented as a corpaortate look personally.
