I don't mind either of those two entries - both good. I prefer David Lowe's, but I could grow to like both, though I think that the first 13 seconds or so of the first entry should be cut.

I've been working on a mix of my own but I'm not sure whether to send it. It's a hell of a lot more difficult making music than it is designing. David Wartnaby's entry sounds quite fun! It'll be interesting to see how many entries are posted, it's not like they're asking for just comments.

i do like how it means we're getting a glut of long countdowns on N24 at the moment though.

Anyone else find Ben & Emily - particularly Emily - growing on them?

Ben said earlier just before he was starting the next story after a report on the Beckham injury, "A bone of contention there" and Emily just butted in and said "You've been waiting to say that all evening. God that was terrible!"

They do really seem to get on!

Yeah I totally agree. Emily and Ben have come on in the past few weeks, there's a bit of on-screen chemistry developing between them. I remember when Emily first started on N24, I could hardly hear a word she said and she spoke in the same tone. But as predicted, a few weeks later she has improved a lot. I should really catch her on Newsnight. I like Ben Brown and his style as well, relaxed and takes it at his own pace. Ben and Emily...the new M&J?

Well done, it was only about 2 months ago.

Some of you seem to be forgetting that Emily has done rolling news before - Sky News in 1998 methinks and then went on to BBC LDN (which had a working newsroom behind it).

I wouldn't have guessed that when she started on N24!

Did anybody see the report about Dracular's house this morning? Basicly as Jane and Matthew were introducing the report there was thunder and lightening round their heads! making Jane laugh then at the end of the introduction the two presenters were blacked out.

Edit they have just played one of the viewers remixes into the countdown to the six o clock news!

Does anyone know how you can save the entries onto your hard drive?

I did not see the thunder and lighting effects, but I did just catch the end of the last hour. Apparently the viewer countdown remix will become a regular Friday just before 6pm feature.

BTW tonights was pretty good

They did that during Carrie and Simon's slot too, and she teased him about looking like Dracula afterwards!
