Classic With Me TW incident just before 1pm .....

He'd just discussed submitted viewers opinions on the Prescott affair, he then went on to the caption requesting more viewer feedback when he reached the picture submission element he said ...

"Pictures, Well if you have pictures then certainly please send them in"

He then had a wonderful cheeky smile as he handed over to the weather.

Delighted to see Karin G back last night. When are the Beeb going to realise how great she'd be in primetime?

Umm. She did seem to be struggling a bit last night, but I suspect that was due to having a break. I'd be cautious about 'Big Footing' her so soon. I think she could do with some time on the overnight service before going domestic, that said, she does have great potential and definatly someone who's going places!

Interesting to see another re-united pairing. Ben Geoghan and Joanna Gosling used to host Weekdays 0900 - 1300 in the 1999-2003 version of BBC News 24.

Interesting to notice the screens managed to fail this morning on Breakfast from N8 (or is it N9 - not sure of the designations, News24 anyway): I managed to get some caps from Sky+. They didn't mention it as far as I know......but interesting to seem that they are brownish when not projected on. Here goes anyway:

Are they not always like during Breakfast at N24? For at least part of the programme?

I wouldn't regard that as "screen failure" - during Breakfast from N24, the screens are very regularly seen in their "off" state. They're most often seen "off" at the top of the hour with the overhead pan, but also regularly seen in their translucent state during reports at the desk throughout weekend Breakfast as well.

The tower now says BBC NEWS, which it never said on either BBC ONE or BBC NEWS24 - is this perhaps part of the change tomorrow? (after all - the ITV News Channel is now defunct, so BBC NEWS CHANNEL won't seem so bad - but makes a mockery of their recent promos - with the clock imagery that is - as it heavily promoted N24)

Only a thought - just guessing away here guys Shocked Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy , and enjoying the suspense and speculation as always - that's the fun! Very Happy

Aplogies to all, perhaps I am being over zealous....... Wink Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

And I have never seen the screens in N24 studio being off before, and i am a night-bird who probably makes up half the viewing figures for N24 at that time of night! Very Happy
