Peter Dobbie on tonight...

Great to see Peter Dobbie on tonight, I for one miss him on a nightly basis. Sad that his contract wasn't renewed. It would be good to see more of him on News 24 as well as BBC World. He is one of their best newsreaders, no question, he's top class.

...and his trademark TOTH / BOTH wide grin is right up there with "withmeTimWillcox" for a unique touch!

I didn't think his contract hadn't been renewed, just that he was doing more work behind the scenes at BBC News now, or that he'd chosen to do freelancing?

Any chance the "On-screen changes made, messy tower!" description can be changed on this thread. It's a bit out of date!
