Urgh! Will some plonker please correct the typo on the ticker. It's spelt
citizen
not
citzen
as has been going round on the ticker for the last 3 hours.
Brief graphics failure there. Aptly, everything froze just as the headline super was sweeping across with the 'breaking news' text, but only made it as far as "BREAK" before freezing. All of the graphics were faded out, and animated back on just a few seconds later.

Well,
that
was odd. During the 0755 BBC London bulletin, the travel update was suddenly interrupted by a cutaway to an empty BBC News 24 set. The view was from the right-hand area, looking towards the desk, with activity going on in the newsroom behind. On the screen to the left of the desk, some snazzy colour bars.
Then, just as suddenly as it had started, it ended, throwing us back into the middle of a sentence on BBC London.

Madness.
No. mistake with routing the signer I would guess.
No it wasn't - it was done on the usual big board set. There was a linking shot used when it was done live during the day. A bit of a giveaway.
Are you sure that Nick was not just standing in the right part of the set for continuity purposes, it looks awfully virtual to me, fo example the newsroom behind the desk is displayed in the right hand of the picture, the train moves through the floor, effectivly cutting it into two and the floor is all to polished for the normal right hand screen. The fact file has been done in a virtual studio before, with bits comming out of the floor.
