I was rather hoping, with the introduction of the 1/6/10 titles to News 24 that the titles would be altered to reflect the time, so there would be 2/3/4/5 etc with BBC News 24 - News Channel of the Year on the bottom of the titles, I think it would tie in a lot neater than simply having three execptions to the titles.
Not overly impressed with the 5 o'clock news so far...

Don't worry...its just News 24 with Huw on it. Nothing differnt AFAIK
Watching the telly posted:
Can somebody capture images from "
The Five O'Clock News with Huw Edwards
" when it comes on.
Thanks.
Thanks.

The only thing which is different so far was a relatively in depth interview, via videophone and recorded before they went on air, with Gordon Brown.
This seems something that was probably easier to get because Huw was doing it.
To me however, a rolling news channel NEEDS two presenters during peak times. Without this they lose the 'buzz' - cf Jeremy Thompson over on Sky.

PS
The 5 O'Clock news is certainly trying hard though- multiple lives, guests in the studio, Gordon Brown. As is always said with bulletins with a relatively rigid schedule: it'll be interesting to see how they deal with (relatively big) breaking news.
Edit: and weather in the studio! If only News 24 was like this all of the time.
