Slight balls-up there - I'm fairly sure that N24 was supposed to opt out of BBC ONE coverage to go to Weather. Instead, we were treated/subjected to a BBC London bulletin.

So any changes to N24 this morning? Apart from them starting 30 minutes earlier?

No presentation differences if that's what you mean. If you were expecting an exciting new look based on the shiny trailers, you'll be disappointed. To be honest, I was hoping for at least *something* a little bit spicy this morning, but alas it's all standard fare.

I like the remix of the theme in the background.

Yeah but how long has Kate Silverton been on that phone?

Umm... Pulses... Very un-ribbon-y. Laughing (There is a setence in that, honest!)

The remix actually reminds me of the BBC World Closing Bed... Anyway, nice idea with the clock faces, I've seen both the Sport and Buisness ones and they work very well.

I wonder if they'll be any changes around 5 o'clock

Well its great the first day and already we have a relief presenter filling in. Jullian Worrick for Simon McCoy.

Start as you mean to go on...

The sport presenter was joking before that "it'd been a last minute thing" so one can only presume Simon was scheduled to do today

Aww! I was looking forwards to Matthew & Jane's reunion!

A lovely promo there. I have to say its rather like a 1999 remix of the theme, no real influence from 2003 and 2004 mixes. Nice to see it wasnt just a rushed job too. Surprised

Jane was on BBC One last night, you can't expect her to be back in work at this time. We'll probably be seeing more of Carrie for this reason.

I like the music off the promos though, wish we could see more of this style. I wish.

Think Jane might be doing the six tonight. Natasa's on holiday and Sian, well, was on 'gardening leave' as it where last week so could be this week too.
