Interesting to see Karin Giannone is on N24 this afternoon. She must be a new recruit or has she been on before?

news presenting really is a cutthroat business and some of the women presenters must feel a tad insecure when new talent like Karin come on the scene. She looks barely 25 and was very calm and professional in her delivery. I'd definitely rate her and say she has a good future at the beeb.

i'm sure the other women will all make her feel right at home (not)!!

Newsreaders on N24 never seem to apologise when the audio/video is out of sync. I find it very rude for some reason as trying to watch things when it's like tha is very hard/

TOG went down yesterday at 11pm and I noticed that BBC News 24 have no backup dog unlike BBC World who would put up a static version of their animated DOG or a transparent version.

I see Sally Bundock is doing the business inserts from the London Stock Exchange today. I don't think I've ever seen her there.

Expect to see more of her at the Stock E in the next couple of months

Does this mean that she will give up her role as presenter of World Business Report during TWT?

If, as mentioned, Max Foster is joining CNN, Sally Bundock could be taking over his role at the Stock Exchange.

I would have guessed that the static DOG might be inserted in World Presentation, something AFAIK N24 don't have so if the gallery goes tits up everything goes!

But what do you think is the better job - presenter of World Business Report or reporter at the stock exchange?

I think World pres have a version as do the newsroom gallery as well. I think BBC News 24 needs a static version as well.

An absolute hilarious moment on N24 at 11.57! Simon McCoy was hiding under the desk as a Dalek was brought into the studio! Very Happy Laughing

Also of note during the weather forecast before 09.30am, it was abruptly cut off!
