Who's not to say they just use BBC World's studio? It would be a lot easier than setting up the blue screen?!?!
This board has completly got off topic, changes concerning the BBC News on BBC 1, should be put in the BBC News thread. There will be no change in Studio to News 24, so it will not need to relocate to the BBC World studio. The changes which are being talked about are to BBC Network News programmes, so i suggest the topic move over to the BBC News thread, before this conversation gets too confusing.

Early Evening schedual, BBC News 24
Monday 10th April 2006
5.00pm The Five o'clock News
6.00pm The Sixo'clock News
6.30pm BBC News
6.45pm Sportsday
7.00pm News24 Tonight
I wonder who will present the bulletin from 6.30pm - 6.45pm. Surely it would be better to include an extended Business summary in this 15 minutes to save presenter staying late or arriving early from there shift. I do not imagine that this 15 minute insert will be double headed.

Anyone with half a brain could work out that TC11 will be dragged back into use for a last hurrah before being decommissioned once and for all.

Just a few questions about presenters etc...
Does News 24 still have the half hour summaries through the simulcast, presented by the doily etc?
And who was that on news 24 on sunday afternoon? I think his name was Tony.

Yes, they still have the half hour news and sport summaries at the BOTH. Usual presenters are Martine Croxall, Alistair Yates and Deborah MacKenzie, although that doesn't stop Jake Lynch getting a look in every so often.
Sunday afternoon, Tony Campion (CNN) was in on the afternoon shift. He's been covering a fair few shifts on News 24 over the last 6 months or so. Both he and Liz Pike are less of a surprise to see at some point during the day on a Sunday at the moment

Chris Eakin seems to have disappeared, 7-10 is still his shift. Ben Brown was doing the 10-1 recently, where's he gone?

Wasn't he in Paris covering the protests yesterday?

Jo Coburn and Janet Barrie should not be allowed near the presenting chairs. My god, they are so glum and boring. Janet Barrie also makes the strangest movements with her eyebrows and head while reading the news.

Yes, Chris did a good job of picking his way through the crowds, but had a slightly harder time finding someone who speaks English!
Another good opportunity to shovel more attention on Tim Willcox!
Jo Coburn on this morning with Simon
Janet Barrie on alongside Matthew
