I see that they seem to have dropped the Fact File. Nick Higham's still around doing his stuff, but it's not called Fact File any more.

Which is a shame because The Fact File was a good feature of News 24. They should have kept it on around 5 or 6pm when people are returning from work etc. to take them into depth of the top story, you never know it may come back as part of Edwards' new programme!

Sorry, I should have been more clear. They've dropped the name Fact File, but Nick Higham still does the same thing as before, it's just introduced as, "Blah blah blah, introduce story. Here's Nick Higham with more..."

Perhaps the new boss didn't like the name, just wanted the substance.

Nice to see Valerie back.
That's now 4 different presenters in 4 days for the Ten News hour. On Monday Jonathan Charles, Tuesday it was Joanna Gosling, Wedensday Ben Brown and Thursday Deborah Mackenzie.

I'm not surprised Peter Dobbie hasn't been in, shockingly awful way that he's been treated in this forthcoming reshuffle.

I still can't believe they haven't renewed his contract, he's such an excellent presenter - he should be given more prominence, never mind being dropped.

Isn't he at BBC World though?

Conversely, maybe the News 24 bosses and he didn't gel together.

What does anyone think of Ben Brown? He has done more shifts recently ahead of the new schedule. I personally cannot warm to his presentation style.

I think he look slike a small boy who's got lost. He has no style at all, and won't last on N24.

Very bland. It's sucha a shame that people who have been presenting on News 24 for years get shafted off to make for someone just because he's a big name. If he wasn't called Ben Brown he'd never in a million years got this job.

The Ten O'Clock website's also closed. Plus, ive just seen an advert for Newswatch. The last few frames saw a line come from the tower position go all the way to the right hand side with the font looking a little different as well.

Has something happened today that hasnt been mentioned?
