The female presenter is Carole Walker, the male presenter (from afar) looks like Tim Willcox but I can't be sure.

Nah it was Chris Eakin who now does 7-11 with Jane Hill - she must have been off last night.

Why have they changed them, again. The globe is slower than ever now, it's hardly moving.

The globe is at the same speed as the original titles - compare:

Original N24 Titles

Current N24 Titles (24/2/05)

Why on earth have you use my capture, downloaded and renamed then uploaded on mrtoms upload? How "pointless"

The reason why is so I can compare the two easily without having to switch pages. If you didn't want other people to use the capture then you shouldn't have put it on.

He doesn't mean that, he means why didn't you just repost the link to his capture. Why did you put it on another server?

Anyhoo, they're being nice today, rather fab 50sec countdown to 11 just now... I only got 47secs of it but it'll do.

47secs of BBC News News 24 Coutndown goodness.

Some of the more intresting shots are erlier on in the countdown, which is a shame as we very rarly get long countdowns these days.

thats right. we get trailer after trailer after trailer. Mostly for BBCi. How much do they need to plug this? We have trailers and after every .30 update, the news reader religiously says "And you can get more on all of those stories from our interactive service, BBCi... Just press the red button on your handset and select "News Multiscreen". Getting a bit fed up of it now.

But in the past few months I have seen a few 46-51 sec countdowns, with an exceptional 67 and even a 71. Usually best catching these on sunday's or overnights. The most cracking one i did see once was a full 90 second. Totally unprecedented and I have only even seen it once. It was on a Sunday afternoon I think, just before a 1400 bulletin.
