Now am I been really blonde, or have you seriously just suggested that?
Was a joke I think.

Hilarious. Personally, I could do without that level of "humour" in favour of a vaguely worthwhile post from that prat.

They've used that shot to illustrate the NCotY story, and see how good it looks...

They just had the big silver '24' with the ribbons flying round it on the screens at the TOTH when Tim was reading the first story. It really looks good in my opinion and I think they should keep it running all the time, on all the screens, instead of putting 'appropriate' stills on them. The animation gives the studio more life, and it emphasises the channel branding.

I love it myself, although I think it looks better without the "24". Still not bad for what is only a 10 second loop.

Although... isn't the headline on the title sequence generated live by TOG (as opposed to the standard title playout used for the National bulletins and where the BBC News logo is used on the N24 titles)? And wasn't there some kind of issue with the TOG programmers whereby they were - for various, undisclosed reasons - unable or unwilling to update the TOG system (which was the reason given by insiders for the continued use of supposedly incorrect titles on BBC World, where the BBC World logo appeared in the wrong place)?
Or am I just making all of this up?

Notice the BBC News 24 titles are showing a BBC News logo in place of the headline spinning. Looks like a temporary VT until they can fit 'RTS News Channel of the Year' into their normal technology.

They are now running the TOTH titles with 'RTS News Channel of the Year' - not sure about .30.
Can anybody please capture the TOTH titles with RTSNCotY?
Thanks

Has anyone else got a strange kind of floating static on NEWS 24? It's on freeview and NTL: cable here in Cardiff and it's not the TV because it's on two of them and a monitor connected to a PC connected to a DigiTV PCI card. I first noticed it at lunchtime and it's still on now.

As you can see it's most prevalent on the edges and occasionally in the center.
